Existing stone floor with underfloor heating
You can easily glue wood floors on an existing stone floor with underfloor heating. The new parquet floor can be directly installed on an existing natural stone floors, except on a slate floor, because this natural stone type is too porous.
INSTALLING A WOODEN FLOOR OVER A STONE FLOOR WITH UNDERFLOOR HEATING
- First, degrease the existing stone floor with a cleaner then mob the floor with water.
- Afterwards, roughen the existing stone floor with grain 24, then vacuum clean.
- Prime the roughened floor with a primer, then glue the wooden floor with a coarser glue comb to adequately fill any height differences. Then place the wooden floorboards.
