A Padouk wooden floor is beautifully orange-like red, also called coral red, hence the name Corail is also used. When exposed to light, this tint reduces to pale red / brown and in the long run to black-brown.
When the floor is painted in a timely manner with an acidifying white lacquer, the beautiful color remains largely retained. When the floor is oiled, it gets a warm, dark and even tint.
