Rustic French Oak options

Rustic French oak floors are characterized by their yellow to brown cognac-like color. The so-called cat's paws (small tassels) are also characteristic of French oak.

It is the most popular wood type variant for an Oak floor. The floorboards are available from 14 cm to 38 cm wide. They can be installed floating or glued. We have various models of skirting boards so that you always find the right finish for your wooden floor.

A rustic French oak wooden floor is pleasant to use and can be mopped every day if desired. By mopping the floor you also perform maintenance. View the color overview to compare various finishes of wooden floors.

These oak floors can be supplied as engineered floor or solid wooden floorboards, depending on the application or when for example, you can want to install the wooden floor on underfloor heating.

Design: Equipped with a tongue and groove all around, and at least 3 tension grooves on the underside. Long visible sides have a bevel (except herringbone and chevron floor: 2.5mm at an angle of 45°). Fit of tongue and groove: hand pressure, light clamping, height difference on visible side is max. 0.1 mm.

Imperfections: There is no part of wood that is exactly the same as another part. Wooden floorboards are a natural product, so the surface characteristics may differ from the product description mentioned above. In total, approximately 2.5% may differ from what is stated above.
