All wooden floor parts that we supply are produced in the Netherlands in a traditional planing mill. We purchase the raw wood, sawn and dried, from regular suppliers in France.

Before woodworking starts, we check whether the wood supplied is of the right quality to be processed into a high-quality floor. THE PLANNING PROCESS
The planing process of the approved selection of wood can be divided into three phases:
In the first phase, the raw wood is cleanly planed on four sides and 'calibrated'. It is then determined which side of the wood has the best quality. Defects such as mold, slat marks or drying stains are checked. These are often not yet visible in the raw wood.
In the second phase, the rough planks are provided with a tongue and groove on the long side, tension grooves on the bottom and a bevel on the top of the plank.
Finally, the planks are cut to length and provided with a tongue and groove on the ends. After this, it is checked whether the planks are properly planed.
