Outdoor parquet has undergone major developments in recent years. Previously, outdoor parquet was usually istalled in a plank pattern, but nowadays the herringbone pattern and the chevron pattern are also possible.

With the herringbone or Chevron pattern outdoor floor you extend the rich and artisanal atmosphere of these original installation patterns in your house to your terrace. The wood species that are suitable for patio flooring in the Netherlands are: Ipe, Teak and Padouk.

Outdoor parquet from Uipkes requires little maintenance to remain beautiful. Occasional sweeping and annual cleaning with a special patio cleaner is sufficient if you choose composite or grayed wood.

If the outdoor parquet has been finished with oil, it is important to maintain the floorboards annually with patio oil so that the natural appearance is maintained.

At Uipkes Wood Flooring we can come and maintain the outdoor parquet for you. We will then clean it and oil it if necessary, so that the patio floor is ready for the beautiful summer days!

Wooden exterior floors and green deposits

Because wooden outdoor floors are exposed to the weather, green deposits can form on the surface of the floorboards. You can easily remove the green deposits by brushing away the coarse dirt and then treating the wood with a special cleaning agent. Your outdoor floor will look beautiful again afterwards.
