"Overall a pleasant purchase"
I bought a solid oak floor from Uipkes for the second time. We moved and so needed a new floor. Uipkes means fun to me. Enjoy the ultimate living pleasure of the floor, but certainly also in the preliminary stages of making the choice.
The specialist advice combined with Dutch common sense and honesty. In addition, there was the nice way of communicating. All in all an enjoyable purchase. I wanted a robust, living floor because with a small child you cannot escape signs of wear. The floor looks good and I am very satisfied!
THE CHOSEN WOODEN FLOOR
The Gronert family from Amsterdam has chosen a solid Rustic French oak plank from 22 cm wide and 20 mm thick. The floor is oiled on site in a natural color. The floor is glued to a chipboard floor made of rolls. We finished the floor with a flat oak skirting board of 6x35 mm.

"The experience of the floor with the underfloor heating is also very pleasant"
After a long search, we finally ended up at Uipkes Wood Flooring . We wanted a wooden floor in combination with underfloor heating . We couldn't really find the floor and company that we were looking for and that we had confidence in. Because of the website, the showroom, the expertise and the many options, we immediately had the feeling that we would succeed here!
Thanks to their good advice, we chose a very beautiful, special Oak floor. A floor that stands out, but does not dominate. This fits us and our interior exactly. The floor is beautiful and very professionally installed by Uipkes with the high level of finishing that certainly sets them apart. The experience of the floor with underfloor heating is also very pleasant.
Martin, we are very happy to have found you. We almost gave up choosing wood, but we are happy that we visited the Uipkes showroom. Thank you for all the advice and patience ;-)
The floor will remain in place for at least 50 years, you said, but if the next wooden floor is added, it will most certainly be a Uipkes Wooden floor again!
THE CHOSEN WOODEN FLOOR
The Schneider family from Rotterdam has a Rustic French oak floor called Vincent. This product has a top layer of 4 mm and a total thickness of 15 mm, the width of which is 240 mm. The subfloor has been pre-treated so that the floor could be glued directly onto it. The floor is finished with a high MDF skirting board of 90 x 15 mm.

We found the Uipkes company on the internet and after reading the experiences of others, we wanted to see with our own eyes whether the wooden floors were as beautiful as people said.
After visiting the store we were convinced. A pleasant welcome in the store and thorough professional knowledge of the advisor. He really thought along with us and advised us very well.
Our floor was installed by Jaro, a first-class professional, and also very pleasant to work with. Nothing was too much for him. We also had the stairs covered with the same wood. The end result is beautiful and we are very happy with our floor.

The van den Berg family from Amstelveen has chosen Vincent, Rustic French oak 24 cm wide, this plank is 15 mm thick and has a top layer of 4 mm oak. The floorboards are pre-finished at the factory and aged in smoked white. The floor has been installed floating, we have installed MDF skirting boards measuring 90 x 15. We supplied and installed a color-coded convector pit grille in the floor. In addition, we finished the steps and their sides with the same wood specie as the floor.

"We installed the floor ourselves"
About 15 years ago we bought our first wooden floor from Uipkes. Because the contact with Uipkes was very pleasant, we recently purchased our 2nd floor for a new apartment.
We looked at which floor would suit your needs, among other things. We installed both floors ourselves after installation instructions from Uipkes can set our own pace. Our last floor was installed on underfloor heating and I really like this.

The van den Toorn family has chosen a Rustic French Oak plank of 18 cm wide. The wooden floor is pre-treated with a natural white oil. The subfloor is first pre-treated with a fabric binder so that the floor parts are glued directly to it by the customer. The customer then installed the 90 x 15 MDF skirting board himself.

We were looking for a hardwood floor for months, which was not easy at all, until we ended up at Uipkes Wood Flooring in Alphen aan de Rijn.
Upon entering you immediately see that this is not your average store. A modern store with a professional appearance and a wide choice of hardwood floors. Finally a store where the salespeople know what they are talking about. You will receive very good advice about what is and is not possible and they take plenty of time for you. We have been enjoying our black hardwood floor for over 4 months now, which was very professionally installed by Uipkes Wood Flooring .

"We are extremely happy with the result"
Our house is over 100 years old. It has sagged, there are nooks and crannies everywhere, nothing is straight. We have wanted a beautiful solid wood wide herringbone floor for a long time. But we understood that it would be quite a challenge to fit a wooden floor neatly in this house. In addition, certain pieces of skirting board could no longer be removed from the wall, so the floor would have to rest against the skirting boards and getting that right and beautiful is quite a job.
We found Uipkes Wood Flooring via the internet. Martin came to have a look in Utrecht. He is very knowledgeable. He advised us well and gave us the feeling that it was possible to create a beautiful wooden floor in our house. It is also striking that the wood he sells is particularly beautiful.
Jaro installed the floor for us. He is a craftsman and can make anything with wood. He placed the floor very neatly in our crooked house down to the smallest details, at the mantelpieces, transition to the stairs, the balcony and the kitchen and along the skirting boards. It turned out beautiful.
What is very nice is that Martin and Jaro think along with the customer. We are extremely happy with the result!
THE CHOSEN WOODEN FLOOR
The lion family has opted for a solid oak herringbone floor. The parts are 16cm wide and 80cm long. The subfloor was the original wooden construction floor with reasonable height differences in some places. We were able to largely remove this from the floor.
The floor is installed with the characteristics of the house in mind. The herringbone floor had been smoked and oiled beforehand. The existing authentic skirting boards remained on the wall and we pressed the floor tightly against the skirting boards.

" Underfloor heating and a wooden floor turned out to be possible"
Would we like to give our opinion about our Uipkes floor? Naturally! We signed on paper for our new-build apartment. Because construction had yet to start, we had plenty of time to orientate ourselves regarding the interior.
We had 2 major wishes, underfloor heating and a wooden floor, but we always assumed that these two aspects did not go together. After much deliberation, we decided to opt for a wooden floor with design radiators. We came across Uipkes via the internet. During our visit to the Uipkes showroom, it turned out that both our dreams could become reality!
Underfloor heating and a wooden floor turned out to be possible after all. We still enjoy our beautiful floor every day and the underfloor heating regularly. What surprises us most is that the floor grows with us. The floor lives and changes, a beautiful feeling to live with, a natural wooden floor.

Mrs Kwist has an apartment in which the construction of the subfloor has already taken noise reduction into account. The floor is therefore glued directly to a pre-treated subfloor. We have Vincent, Rustic French Oak planks of 24 cm wide with a top layer of 4 mm oak. The floor is double smoked black oiled and finished with a modern MDF skirting board measuring 120 x 15.

"It's a huge difference compared to a laminate floor"
We recently purchased a floor from you. We had laminate at the time and still wanted a real wooden floor. We selected a wide light plank. The floor was placed in 1 day. To this day we are still very happy with it.
It is a huge difference compared to a laminate floor. First of all, it looks much nicer and runs better (warmer on your feet). We would never have been able to find this beautiful color of wood in laminate. And this is the color we always wanted.
I am also surprised in terms of stains and damage. Even though I regularly walk in heels, have given parties and regularly spill something on the floor, I hardly have any damage!
