Degreasing and roughening cast floor

Degreasing and roughening a cast floor is an important step in the preparation for laying a new floor, such as a wooden floor. Degreasing removes dirt, grease and other contaminants from the cast floor. The roughening creates a rough surface that provides better adhesion for the new floor. By priming the floor afterwards, the new floor can be glued onto it.
